Post-Production Audio Services

Broadcast-ready sound

Polished sound is at least as important as glossy picture. Professional, natural-sounding audio elevates a production, making the whole package more convincing.

I’ve been delivering broadcast-standard final stereo mixes for over a decade, for everything from award-winning corporate campaigns and independent films to Hollywood trailers and animation explainers for NGOs.

STANDARDS-COMPLIANT STEREO MIXES

My father is a filmmaker. He gave me some of my earliest professional audio experience, mixing feature-length productions to stringent BBC standards. And I was working to current EBU R128 specifications even before it was mandatory.

I’ll ensure your production meets the requirements of its intended platform – from TV to radio, cinema and online.

BROADCAST-STANDARD PRIVATE STUDIO

My private studio is equipped with industry standard equipment, including Neumann/Klein & Hummel speakers commonly found in German broadcast, with mastering-grade Prism monitoring conversion, ensuring final mixes will sound good anywhere.

And because I work in Pro Tools – with Fabfilter plugins – I can easily interface with other professional facilities.

AUDIO CLEANUP & SOUND DESIGN

Modern dialogue and voiceover aren’t always recorded in the ideal environment. I have extensive experience using the industry standard Izotope RX to clean noise-compromised location sound and home-recorded voiceover.

And if you need FX, I’m happy to design, generate, source or manipulate whatever sounds you need to make your production pop.

TRUSTED BY HOUSEHOLD NAMES

Reliability is probably the most important quality in an audio post engineer.

My credits for audio post-production range from blue-chip corporates like Mercedes to charities and NGOs like the MS Society, Soho trailer houses, and award-winning independent filmmakers that have been featured in Empire magazine and The Guardian.

post-production audio portfolio

Here are just a few of my favourite projects that are publicly available online.

The MS Society | My MS Diagnosis (Final mix & audio cleanup). This animation was released for World MS Day 2024. The stories were gathered from contributors around the world, recording at home with varying levels of fidelity.

DSW International | Bridging the Gap – Accelerating Science for Neglected Infectious Diseases (Final mix). German NGO DSW often uses these animations to present to international bodies like the EU and WHO.

IPPF | Tracking What Counts / Countdown 2030 Europe (Final mix). Sexual and reproductive health NGO IPPF also uses animation to campaign. Without voiceover, the piece’s sound FX were essential to bringing it to life.

Curzon/Editpool | Enemy online trailer UK (Final mix). As with any trailer, it was crucial the sound had maximum impact to stand out online, for this Jake Gyllenhaal-starring early film from Denis Villeneuve (Arrival, Dune).

Editpool | Killing Season online DVD trailer UK (Final mix). For this Robert De Niro and John Travolta-starring thriller, high-octane sound was crucial to achieving a powerful online trailer.

Mercedes/BBDO/Ithaca | Sound With Power online campaign (Mastering, mixing, composition). I composed and mixed some of the mashups for this viral Mercedes ad campaign, as well as mastering all of the online material.
